Throughout the day at Orchid Country Club, the atmosphere was rising as the bowling master’s finals reached its peak. The finals for both the boys and girls was an all Singapore and South Korea affair. Singapore won the gold medal for the boys and the girls took silver and bronze.
After the few days of volunteering, everything finally came to an end. I made many friends and got to see the finest bowlers from all over Asia come together to complete in this inaugural game. Such a rare opportunity is really hard to come by and it was a wonderful experience being part of this event.

Last practical session of the semester. I cannot believe it, but get four hours off all my Thursdays.

Asian Youth Games Volunteer Appreciation Night. Surprising but true, all the volunteers were treated to a free preview of Stefanie Sun’s concert. My group of friends and I were seated at the corner of the stage, which were supposedly the seats that cost $168 each (the most expensive one). Throughout the concert, I could not understand much of what she was singing. Nevertheless, I still had fun and got kind of high every now and then.

Marina Barrage. I finally got to go out with my cell group after such a long time. The wind there was very strong and ideal for kite flying, so we did just that. Light showers started to pour down from the sky shortly after. The kites got destroyed in the process as the wind got a little too strong. On a brighter note, we saw two rainbows after the rain stopped.
Fu Wei drove us to Marina Square, where we had dinner at Xin Wang Hong Kong Café. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, but it was rather expensive. After dinner, we went to the arcade to play some really cool games before going home.

Church, church, church. I really love my church. The sermon today was assuring and humourous.
