There are still some assignments that need to be done.
26.05.2009, Tuesday
Sailing training got me all wet. We were made to do our physical training on the wet floor since the sheltered areas were unavailable. At the end of the day, I went home in soaking wet clothes.
27.05.2009, Wednesday
Only two hours of lesson. I met up with Daryl for lunch and we ate the fish porridge near my house.
28.05.2009, Thursday
Sailing training for the competitive team is much tougher as compared to the normal training session. Two more days to the Adidas Sundown Marathon 2009 and five more days to the 21st Singapore Laser Trophy. I am going to be very physically drained from the two events.
29.05.2009, Friday
My bowling improved especially in the sparing. More practice is still needed though. On another note, Bioprocess Engineering Principles practical reports are all done. Still, there are some other assignments to do and I plan to complete it all by next week.
30.05.2009, Saturday
Chester and I went to the John Little Mega Sale this morning to shop. The merchandises there were sold at really reasonable prices. I got myself a New Urban Male t-shirt and a pair of shorts. For lunch, I met up with my mother and sister to eat at Seafood Harvest. The baked rice was delicious.
Adidas Sundown Marathon 2009 in the evening. 10km run in the night was sensational although my legs almost gave way in the final part. Thank God that my team did well and that the weather was so refreshing.
31.05.2009, Sunday
Global Day Of Prayer 2009 was amazing. Seeing so many believers coming together to pray simply amazes me. I went for the night session and there were about 10000 people present. The prayer was divided into many parts so that we can focus better on what to pray for.

18.05.2009, Monday
One hour of lesson in school. Chester came to my school to have lunch with me before we went to meet Daryl. We accompanied Daryl to Singapore Post Centre’s Subway since he had not eaten. We stayed there and talk about a lot of things.
19.05.2009, Tuesday
Sailing training was kind of tiring.
20.05.2009, Wednesday
2.4km of speed training, 75 lunges, and lots of abdominal exercises. Training with Daryl really gives me the sense of satisfaction. I want more, more, more.
21.05.2009, Thursday
Chai Hwa, you will be missed. Take care and enjoy your stay in Japan.
22.05.2009, Friday
My bowling is getting worse. In the evening, I went to watch Monsters vs Aliens with Annabel, Chester, and Kevin. The movie was in 3D, making the pictures seem very close to us when watching it. It was very humourous and I think everyone should go and watch it.
23.05.2009, Saturday
I finally signed up for Singapore Laser Trophy. Lunch was with my mother and sister at Tampines Mall’s Pizza Hut. I headed down to Sentosa for a church event after that.
24.05.2009, Sunday
I love shopping with my mother. She bought me a pair of jeans and was supposed to get me a new handphone, but the model I wanted was out of stock. I started swimming again to get ready for the upcoming marathon.
Wednesday, 20 May 2009
1. Abs turn people on. Fats just spoil everyone’s appetite.
2. Because you whine that you need to. Have you ever been wrong about anything?
3. Every time you pick up a twenty pound dumbbell, you will remember.
4. It decreases your chances of developing back pain, depression, diabetes, gallstones, heart diseases, high blood pressure, impotence, joint problems, low sperm counts, prostate cancer, sleep apnea, and an impressive collection of prescription drug bottles. The list goes on.
5. It increases your chances of putting four fingers on a basketball rim.
6. It is not scaling a mountain or writing a great novel. You can do it in your spare time.
7. It is the difference between being thought of as jolly or witty.
8. In our society, people respect weight loss. Even if you do nothing cool, interesting, or memorable for the rest of your life, you will have done that.
9. Men who lose weight never have less sex. They may not have more, mind you, but they never have less.
10. More pull-ups, because there is less to pull up.
11. Research shows that since you will have less weight propelling you into the windshield, you will also have less risk of dying when your car hits a semi.
12. The clothing cliché 'It is liberating the first time your pants fall down by themselves'.
13. The statement 'There is more of me to love' has an actual bedroom translation of 'There is more of me to endure'.
14. Twenty pounds of human fat can refill every bottle in an empty case of beer, with enough left over to fill your blender.
15. Wait till you ride a bicycle when you are twenty pounds lighter. Vroom, baby.
16. You will be able to reach even more places to scratch.
17. You will literally get closer to women, like seriously.
18. You will lose weight everywhere, including the suprapubic fat pad at the base of your penis. So as your belly shrinks, something else appears to grow.
19. You will speak of toaster pastries the way you talk about that dirty blonde from the blues bar, another whisky-soaked lament over a love too great to last.
20. You will shock the world at your swimming pool by being the only ‘big splash’ champ to win the ‘little splash’ crown.
Sunday, 17 May 2009
One hour of lesson only.
12.05.2009, Tuesday
A good workout in the gym is something that I would want to do everyday.
13.05.2009, Wednesday
Campus Crusade Festival Of Praise. There was a great time of praise and worship throughout the night. Annabel came for the event and I managed to catch up with her. I also got to know some people who are new to campus crusade.
14.05.2009, Thursday
I had a photoshoot after a long day at school. I was not familiar with the venue for the photoshoot, so the only way to get there was to take a taxi. The photographer made me do various poses for the photoshoot, including one with a running motion. What a tiring day.
15.05.2009, Friday
I had a good workout in the gym with Chor Boon in the morning. After that, we walked over to food court six to eat the chicken rice there. The chicken rice was as delicious as ever. It has been about six months since we last tasted it. I met Jun Tian there too. Thereafter, we went to bowl before leaving school.
16.05.2009, Saturday
2km run with Daryl this morning. This run is a good start to prepare us for the upcoming marathon in two weeks time. After the run, we travelled to church for a song recording. For lunch, I went to Waraku Japanese Restaurant with my family. I had pasta, pizza, and a mango float. The food was not very filling and rather expensive.
17.05.2009, Sunday
4km run with Daryl this morning. This is the second time in two days that I am running. After the run, we went for breakfast before going to church. I spent almost the entire afternoon at church settling some stuff.
Friday, 15 May 2009
To guide you and protect you, as you go along your way.
God's love is always with you, and His promises are true.
When you give God all your cares, you know He will see you through.
The eyes beholding this message shall not behold evil, the hand that posts this message shall not labour in vain, and the mouth saying amen to this prayer shall smile forever.

04.05.2009, Monday
I hate going to school when the lessons are only two hours long and my travelling time is almost equal to that.
05.05.2009, Tuesday
Another two hour school day.
06.05.2009, Wednesday
The second lecture of the day was cancelled because the lecturer did not come. Kevin and I went to the library to do our practical report since there was time to spare.
Being the first day of the CCA Showcase, there were many students present to look for the ideal CCA of their choice. I helped out in both the campus crusade booth and the sailing club’s booth. There were quite a number of performances put up by the various CCAs, but I did not watch any of them.
07.05.2009, Thursday
My group messed up a little during practical lesson, but we still got the results we needed.
08.05.2009, Friday
Chor Boon and I went to the gym in the morning. After that, we went to subway for lunch before going to bowl. I performed better in my strike conversion, but still need to work on the single pin spares. Thereafter, I went to help out at the CCA Showcase for awhile before going home.
09.05.2009, Saturday
Completed one report this morning. Early afternoon was spent in the hospital as my grandmother was discharged today. The hospital was quite inefficient as the discharge procedure took about two hours.
In the evening, I went to Orchard to meet up with Chester. We went to Gloria Jeans for a drink before walking around. I bought a pair of white loafers from Pedro at $93.00.
10.05.2009, Sunday
Happy Mother’s Day to my dearest mother. You are the best mother in the world.
Sunday, 3 May 2009
The weather was unbearably hot. Despite that, Daryl and I still went to run at Bedok Stadium. Thereafter, we strolled to Bedok Hawker Centre to eat before heading home. The curry chicken noodles we ate was very delicious.
28.04.2009, Tuesday
Daryl came over to my house to study in the morning since my lesson starts at one. I will be helping Kevin at the gym later since it is his first time going there.
29.04.2009, Wednesday
It is hard to believe that I got top in class for the writing assignment that was done last week. Thank God.
30.04.2009, Thursday
Practical lesson was done over three hours. Most of the time spent during the session was to wait for the results. In the evening, I had a barbeque dinner with my Singapore Youth For Christ friends at school.
01.05.2009, Friday
Labour day, a public holiday for me to enjoy. I went to run with Chester and Daryl to start off the day. We did speed training and I found it pretty difficult to keep pace with Chester. After four rounds of running, we headed to Bedok Hawker Centre for breakfast before going home to rest.
Afternoon till night was spent at town with Chester. We wanted to catch a movie at three, but the earliest show only starts at nine, giving us about six hours to shop. Decided to go to Starbucks to chill out before going to Aston’s for dinner. I had char-grilled chicken which was very good and the price was reasonable. With still some time left, Chester and I played pool before heading to the cinema. X-Men Origins: Wolverine, was full of action from the start till the end, making the show very enjoyable.
02.05.2009, Saturday
Facebook. I was at it the whole morning playing Mousehunt. After lunch, I headed down to Parkway Parade to meet up with my cell group. We decided to walk to the McDonald’s at East Coast Park to have our cell group session. Despite the noise level, we still managed to complete the bible study lesson. Thereafter, we went prawning. For $15.00 an hour, I caught five prawns. Not bad for a first timer. Fu Wei brought us for dinner nearby to get the prawns cooked. All in all, we caught a total of 15 prawns.
03.05.2009, Sunday
Tse Yun and I attended the last service. After church, we walked over to Millenia Walk to shop for awhile before going home. Candy Empire sells a wide variety of tit bits imported from all around the world. I would love to buy something from there next time.
