To my surprise, there are many other students in school studying when I went there to do a project with my group leader. This is the second time I went to school on a Sunday. The last time I went to school on a Sunday was for a bowling competition. With all the tests coming in a week’s time, all the students are busy mugging for it even on a weekend. I am not surprised, since I live in such a competitive environment.
Let’s talk about church. The queue into church seems to be getting longer by the week, although I always get there an hour before the service starts. This shows that there are so many people wanting to hear the God’s word and be blessed. I am really amazed by the wonders God can do.

I beat everyone playing in the same lane as me in the game at bowling training. This marks a good start for tomorrow’s friendly match with Ngee Ann Polytechnic. However, I have a feeling my form is not like that everyday. We shall see.

Messed up everything and even let my partner down. I am so sorry but I will not give up bowling just because of a few failures and setbacks. Instead, I will be more determined to train even harder for the next competition. I will start training again after all the tests are over, I promise.

I skipped the graduation party for two reasons. Firstly, I was underdressed. Secondly, I was informed at the very last minute, giving me no time to make changes to my schedule. I went to the gym with Jun Kai instead, and home afterwards to get on with my outstanding assignments.

Hearing that the graduation party that I missed was mostly performances and singing by the school students, I was glad to have skipped it. The programme did not did not turn me on. I found out that some of my friends skipped it too. The only good part that I missed was the food. Forget it.

Project meeting was really fruitful. I managed to draw two parts of the plant by two in the afternoon. After that, I went to the gym before heading home with Annabel and Ronald. Annabel got me embarrassed again (nothing new). She called me and Ronald to wave to her 'friend' at the other side of the train platform, only to find out that the girl was actually her friend’s friend.

At sailing training, we transported our boats and equipment down from East Coast to Changi for the competition next week. The journey there by sea took about an hour. Christopher got his boat capsized and lost his sail in the process. Poor him. The worst part was that the sail he lost was a brand new one. He later transferred all his equipment to my boat, making me feel really squashed and uncomfortable. We washed our boats and equipment at Changi before heading back to East Coast. Our coach drove the power boat really fast on the way back. The feeling of the wind blowing into your face is so refreshing. We only took eleven minutes on the return journey.
every failure and setback is just another test
