August Day 10 Year 2008

03 August 2008, Sunday

Missing the last night of Festival Of Praise simply makes me jealous of the people who are able to go. Anyway, I went for the past two nights so I should be happy for that. I was at home studying and doing all my reports, while Boon Teck, Jeremy, and Lun Tat were happily praising God.

04 August 2008, Monday

Finally, I am a little closer to satisfaction of my bowling. I managed to keep my open frames down to two instead of my usual four or more. I bowled a score of 170, but I am really hoping I can break the 200 mark soon and keep a high average.

05 August 2008, Tuesday

Pharmaceutical test was not as bad as I expected as I managed most of the long questions quite well. I went home straight after that instead of going for sailing training as I have Poly Fifty Campus Relay tomorrow.

06 August 2008, Wednesday

Poly Fifty Campus Relay was really good although my team started with only nine people out of ten. The team, whom I captained, came in 37 out of 160 teams. This result broke my club’s record of the 49th position, which is set the previous year also by my team. Well done to all my team members for all your hard work.

07 August 2008, Thursday

Despite the muscle cramps from Poly Fifty Campus Relay, I still went for sailing training. Training seemed especially difficult as I am experiencing muscle cramps all over my body. After training, I felt lethargic although training was of the normal routine.

08 August 2008, Friday

I managed to complete my Pharmaceutical Manufacturing group report in the afternoon after much effort. My plan was to bowl with Kai Yuan after lessons, but it was hindered by the event held at the bowling alley. The event will only end at six, so we decided to give it a miss and I went straight home.

09 August 2008, Saturday

Being National Day, I wore a red shirt the whole day to be a patriotic Singaporean. I spent the whole morning driving Dad and Mum around to get the groceries for the barbeque party tomorrow. First, we went to Chinatown market, then to Sheng Shiong, then to NTUC and finally to Shop & Save. In the afternoon till evening, I spent my time watching the olympic games and the two new comedies on Channel 5. “Calefare” was not bad, but I prefer “First Class” as it was more hilarious.

living in a bowl of hot soup simply melts me
