For the first time, I went for sailing training at West Coast Park. It took me about one hour plus to get there and the journey there was so long that I felt like going home halfway. Anyway, I like to sail so I had no choice but to take the time to travel down to West Coast Park. Training was quite fun but the wind there is quite light, so I could not really go fast. I left training early because I had to attend church at five in the evening. I got no sun burns from the training, so my skin was saved from pain.

The first day of the bowling selections was an utter disaster for me. I got 151 for my highest game out of six games. My average is so bad that I do not need to mention it. I hope for the better tomorrow. God, please give me strength.
15 July 2008, Tuesday
The day ended in defeat as I am not able to qualify for the school bowling team again. Year after year, I tried so hard only to be disappointed at the end of the day. I injured my thumb and middle finger the day before, so it was very difficult to bowl. Maybe that is just an excuse, but what more can I say? I just have to let my fingers rest first and think of what I want to do next.
16 July 2008, Wednesday
I went to the gym alone to do my workout and my muscles are screaming in pain now. Whatever it is, I am just going to bear with the pain and continue with my training.
17 July 2008, Thursday
I had this role play in Effective Interpersonal Communication class and it was about a conflict. It was quite fun as I seldom do role plays. There is going to be a role play test on this and I cannot wait for it. There is no way to prepare for it, which really gives me the fear of not being able to do well enough to get an ‘A’ for this module.
18 July 2008, Friday
Lessons ended really early because my Bioanalytics tutorial was done during the practical lesson on Monday so I did not need to attend it. I used the three hours break I got by going to the gym to exercise and have my lunch. After that, I attended my boating theory lesson. The lesson ended early as usual and I went to talk to my lecturer as we both had interest in sailing. I really had a good talk with him and learnt quite a few things.
19 July 2008, Saturday
I overslept for the first time. Waking up at nine plus and it is a Saturday. I missed Fu Wei’s car ride to go to East Coast Park to run with Daryl and him, so I went to Bedok Stadium to run with Mou Wei. We ran 2.4 km because our stamina could not last for 4.0 km. I ran on Friday too, so I had every reason to feel tired. After running, we went to Bedok Market to eat before going home. Besides that, I spent the whole day at home sorting out my songs in my mp3.
