This is probably one of the best days of my life because I received the gift of tongues on this very day. I have been praying for the gift of tongues for about two years already and I finally received it. After church, I went home to bake a strawberry cheesecake for my mother to celebrate Mother’s Day. It was quite nice to eat but I did not decorate it because it was too time consuming.
12 May 2008, Monday
I had practical in the morning till afternoon and my group’s practical results were wrong for the first time. Something must have gone wrong during the experiment or we calculated something wrongly. Anyway, we still got an 'A' grade for the practical so I think we just have to do well in the practical report part. In the evening, I had bowling training and I bowled quite badly because of my high swing. I think I need to work much harder in terms of my accuracy.
13 May 2008, Tuesday
Tuesdays have the most interesting lessons because I have Bioanalytics class in the morning and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing class in the afternoon. Although the lessons are interesting, I hate to do the tutorials.
14 May 2008, Wednesday
Lessons start at 8.00 am and end at 10.00 am. After lessons, I went to do my practical report with my friend before heading home.
15 May 2008, Thursday
I do not like lessons on Thursday because they are not only boring but difficult to understand. Lessons are from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. After that, I had Campus Crusade Life Meeting before going home. I went home alone for the first time this semester because Lynette forgotten about me and went home.
16 May 2008, Friday
Hai Kiat came to visit me at school and we went bowling. I went home after that because I have lots of assignments and reports to hand in the following week.
17 May 2008, Saturday
I conducted the Basic Windsurfing Course alone and I nearly died of exhaustion because my students were so terrible and they never take care of the equipment. I ended the lesson slightly earlier because I got really frustrated at some of my students. Luckily, the wind and weather was good, so I could also windsurf a little just to keep in touch with the sport.
