I went to church and the games dry run was cancelled, so I stayed back after service to do some school work and talked to some people. I got to know some people better in the process. I think that church people cannot study together especially when there is food around, because everyone will stop studying and focus on the food and not the books.
22 April 2008, Monday
Bowling training when on fine and there is a new bowling equipment shop in the bowling alley which just opened for business. I think I am going to get all my equipment from this shop since the person in charge is giving me a good price. He is also willing to help me import bowling equipment for me that I cannot find elsewhere. Good bargain, great deal.
23 April 2008, Tuesday
I fell sick but I still went to school as usual. Dosed off during pharmaceutical manufacturing lecture and was unlucky, thus getting caught by the lecturer. Luckily he was fine with it. I was supposed to go running with my friends but I was sick so I went home and told them to run with me another time. I felt irresponsible at first, but my health does not permit me to run so I did not have a choice. Thank God my friends were all fine with me being absent when I was the one who organised the run.
24 April 2008, Wednesday
I went subway for the first time in my life with Aaron, Joshua, Kevin, and Rochelle. The food was great and the price was reasonable. We ate and talked for about an hour before departing. After that, I met my bowling friend coincidentally and we took the same train. We talked about bowling, which is what bowlers normally do. He alighted at Eunos and I went Bedok to meet Lindsay to accompany her to get her friend’s birthday present. I got to meet her friends and they were friendly and kind of funny too, because some of them thought that I was really younger than I am now. I followed Lindsay to Tampines Mall and we ran around like children looking for a balloon. In the end, she bought her friend a file. It was great fun shopping with Lindsay, but Lindsay and Joey cannot go shopping together because of some reasons.
25 April 2008, Thursday
Lessons were long, stretching from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. After that, I went for my Campus Crusade event where we prayed for the freshman and for the new leaders taking over. I pray that God will guide them and use them to glorify Him. Amen.
26 April 2008, Friday
I clubbed for the first time at Ministry Of Sound with my Campus Crusade friends. The feeling was quite good and the atmosphere was great, but most of all what I enjoyed best was the walk down Clarke Quay. Walking along the river with the breeze moving through your hair makes you feel so refreshed. The place is pretty cool for hanging out with a group of close friends. We had to queue up for about half an hour before we could get in, but we got a complimentary drink and some snacks. We partied for about an hour before walking down the river to Marina Square to eat Carl’s Junior. The serving was big and I made a smart choice by not upsizing the meal to large, as I had problems finishing my medium sized meal. I went straight home after that to end of the great week.
