I went to church and the games dry run was cancelled, so I stayed back after service to do some school work and talked to some people. I got to know some people better in the process. I think that church people cannot study together especially when there is food around, because everyone will stop studying and focus on the food and not the books.
22 April 2008, Monday
Bowling training when on fine and there is a new bowling equipment shop in the bowling alley which just opened for business. I think I am going to get all my equipment from this shop since the person in charge is giving me a good price. He is also willing to help me import bowling equipment for me that I cannot find elsewhere. Good bargain, great deal.
23 April 2008, Tuesday
I fell sick but I still went to school as usual. Dosed off during pharmaceutical manufacturing lecture and was unlucky, thus getting caught by the lecturer. Luckily he was fine with it. I was supposed to go running with my friends but I was sick so I went home and told them to run with me another time. I felt irresponsible at first, but my health does not permit me to run so I did not have a choice. Thank God my friends were all fine with me being absent when I was the one who organised the run.
24 April 2008, Wednesday
I went subway for the first time in my life with Aaron, Joshua, Kevin, and Rochelle. The food was great and the price was reasonable. We ate and talked for about an hour before departing. After that, I met my bowling friend coincidentally and we took the same train. We talked about bowling, which is what bowlers normally do. He alighted at Eunos and I went Bedok to meet Lindsay to accompany her to get her friend’s birthday present. I got to meet her friends and they were friendly and kind of funny too, because some of them thought that I was really younger than I am now. I followed Lindsay to Tampines Mall and we ran around like children looking for a balloon. In the end, she bought her friend a file. It was great fun shopping with Lindsay, but Lindsay and Joey cannot go shopping together because of some reasons.
25 April 2008, Thursday
Lessons were long, stretching from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. After that, I went for my Campus Crusade event where we prayed for the freshman and for the new leaders taking over. I pray that God will guide them and use them to glorify Him. Amen.
26 April 2008, Friday
I clubbed for the first time at Ministry Of Sound with my Campus Crusade friends. The feeling was quite good and the atmosphere was great, but most of all what I enjoyed best was the walk down Clarke Quay. Walking along the river with the breeze moving through your hair makes you feel so refreshed. The place is pretty cool for hanging out with a group of close friends. We had to queue up for about half an hour before we could get in, but we got a complimentary drink and some snacks. We partied for about an hour before walking down the river to Marina Square to eat Carl’s Junior. The serving was big and I made a smart choice by not upsizing the meal to large, as I had problems finishing my medium sized meal. I went straight home after that to end of the great week.

it is so hard to please everyone and to make someone smileThis morning I sent my father to East Coast Park to settle his stuff before driving home the car home to pass it to my mother. The previous night, I dreamt that I had a car accident, so when I was driving home I was a little scared. Anyway, thank God I got home safely. After that, I went to meet some church people to go to the SCGS Carnival. We also met Chester who came out of army camp for awhile because he had an interview nearby.
Before going to the SCGS Carnival, we waited for the bus but we did not know that the bus only operates after two in the afternoon. We waited for quite long and got really frustrated to find out that it operates after two when we when to check the bus directory again. Took a train down and changed to a bus and we finally got there.
The place was packed with people from all different schools and parents as well. The food was okay, but the muah chee and the pita was especially delicious. Although the things there are quite expensive, we managed to survive with the coupons we bought. I finally managed to take a good photo with Lindsay.

This is the new semester and the start of my final year in the polytechnic. Just one more year to go and I will be able to get my diploma. I must start working hard and stop procrastinating. A new semester is also marks a new beginning. I also cannot wait for Hillsong United to come to Singapore on 24 May 2008. I believe that I will follow Jesus everyday and not let anything stop me from serving Him. Outing with Anne, Kia Wei, and some other people tomorrow.

Kia Wei and I ended work early yesterday to attend the Planetshakers worship at Singapore Expo with some of our church friends. It was very crowded there but we got priority tickets so we could go in and get good seats and beat the queue. Tim Hughes, the writer of “Here I Am To Worship” was also present with his band. They led the crowd into a time of worship after the Planetshakers worship segment. Before the worship started, we took lots of photos and I look really unglam in some of them. I will post the photos soon though.
The time of worship was really great and everyone was on fire for God. It was a great time of jumping and singing praises to a great God that died for all our sins. I am sure everyone had a great time and in a way grown closer to God.
In total, there were twenty of us present - Me, Boon Teck, Daryl, Jeremy, Lun Tat, Kia Wei, Lynette, Zhi Kai, Amanda, Dora, Jeredy, Rui Jing, Sandra, Anne, Jie Yi, Junie, Lindsay, Natalie, Sher May and Marcus.
Being the last day of work, my salary will be flowing in soon and I promise to give 10% to God, 50% to my parents and keep the remaining 40% for myself. Dear God, please grant me a higher salary than I expect and help me not to love money so much.

If it is meant to be, it will be. Every moment when I am awake I feel empty, lost, and that I have not accomplished anything much. Everything feels like a routine with nothing much achieved. Life seems to be all about studying, working, and earning money. If it is going to be this way, it will certainly be a letdown as life’s greatness would not be experienced and fulfilled.
God is my beloved father who created me and gave me the breathe of life. He is totally indescribable and I can never stop singing praises unto Him. Life is my world which I want to enjoy it to the maximum but fail its basic requirements, going wrong in certain aspects and messing up some of my principles. Music is my passion and it is sound pleasing to my ears, something which I need to work hard on. Sports is my love which I cannot excel in it most of the time. Studying is my greatness fear and I am not good at it at all. I will never take interest in it but do it rather for a livelihood in the future.
To everyone out there, sorry for the tears that you cried and the many holes I pierced in your hearts, but whatever it is, I hope that you will forgive me. Forget the past and move on because we all make mistakes. Moving on will get us somewhere, but staying put will get us nowhere. To those out there, the promises I made to you will last till my dying day. Being with you is the precious and quality time we can never find elsewhere, messaging you is something we like to do each day, and seeing you is a bonus which I cannot get everyday.
