It has been an eventful week ever since I returned to school. Two weeks have passed, and the workload is building up faster and faster. I must tell myself I cannot afford to procrastinate this semester, but my discipline just seems so poor. The first week, the lessons were at a slower pace and they were easier to understand, but the second week, things accelerated a little bit but I could still handle the workload.
The first week, I was rather busy with my campus crusade activities because of the CCA drive. We were busy trying to recruit the year one students. The response from the year one students was quite good. In fact, I think their cohort have more people joining campus crusade than the previous year. It is indeed God’s blessing that so many people have decided to join campus crusade.
I was so busy that I hardly have time to blog, so I decided to blog only on Sundays. The campus crusade also had our Festival Of Praise on Friday night. I served as an usher and also invited two of my church friends for the event. The band was really great, and the music was kind of jazzy but ultimately God’s presence made everything turn out well.
At the Festival Of Praise, I even met one of my primary school friend whom I have lost contact with for such a long time. It was really good meeting up with him again and he even told me that he just joined campus crusade recently. This also mean that I can meet up with him more often and catch up with him. It is really such a small world.

Shermay said that I flooded her email with my blog posts (many other people have said that too). From tomorrow onwards, I plan to blog only on Sundays or when I am free. School reopens tomorrow and I will also have not much time for my blog because year two is really very stressful and packed with lessons from morning all the way to the evening.
My parents went to Malaysia early this morning and left me and my siblings in Singapore. I was put in charge to take care of them and my grandmother too. Lucky for me, my parents will only be away for three days and two nights, so they will be back by Tuesday afternoon. Anyway, both my siblings and I will be going to school, so there is nothing much to worry about. I pray for my parent’s safety and that they will have good health throughout their stay in Malaysia. I also hope that they will have an enjoyable time there.
Church service was rather short. Immediately after the service, my friends and I went to eat. After that, I brought them to my house to play, while one of my friends helped me change the strings of my guitar. We took quite awhile before the guitar was ready to be played on. After that, we all went back to church. Some of us went back for meetings while I went back for the jamming sessions.
I almost went deaf at the jamming session, because my friends and I were playing the instruements very loudly with music blasting as well. However, I realised that the practice was quite good because I got to play both the drums and the guitar. I hope to be able to play with the worship team for the church by next year. I will continue to practice hard and work towards it.

The new anti-virus program has just been loaded into my computer and it is working fine. The old anti-virus is going to expire soon that is why I must get a new one. The weather was terrible in the morning because there was totally no wind at East Coast Park. The trainees and I have to wait until after lunch before the wind started to pick up.
After lunch, the wind was really good, but the tide was too low and we had a lot of trouble trying to windsurf properly because the rocks beneath the sea posed a danger hazard to us. The tide got lower and lower as time passes. In the end, we had to call off the training. It was quite sad, because the wind was really very strong, but the tide made the training almost impossible.
The training ended at around four plus. We all then washed all the equipment and put it back before going to bathe and then took a taxi to the nearest train station. Howe Yong and I went to eat some fast food before taking the train home. It was a tiring day for me, but I think I am still able to carry on till the night.

My last day of work is certainly a pleasant one and I even got a chance to meet up and talk to the human resource manager of my company regarding my attachment next year. I really hope that I will be able to come back to this company as the staff here are very nice. The office is also within walking distance from my house. I take only about only fifteen minutes to get there. Whenever I pass my office, it will definitely bring back fond memories.
I think this is also the company that pays me the most and I enjoy working here most compared to the other two previous companies I worked for. The first company I worked for was the worst. I dread to go to work everyday then, but now this company has made me think that working can be fun too. Anyway, Monday will be a brand new start at school and I hope to make it good this time round.
My manager wanted to have lunch with me but she was too busy so we did not have lunch together. However, she bought me a packet of barbequed pork as a gift and I am already very thankful for that. The workload was also very little because there was nothing much for me to do and the other staff was not around too.
The bad news for me is that my friend who is also the other instructor for the windsurfing class is sick. I hope he can get well by tomorrow and come as it will be difficult to do the teaching alone.

Tomorrow will be my last day at work and it will be a sad thing for me to leave the company. Being my second last day at work, it was the first time I went into the store next to my office. The store was very big, dusty, and it was dimly litted. It had many small rooms with very high ceilings and the place looked a little creepy because it was very quiet and eerie.
This Saturday, it is back to the sea for me and my friends. I will be teaching windsurfing to my friends again and I really hope the wind will be good because it plays a big part in windsurfing. If there is no wind, the training will definitely be much harder for the trainees and it will also be very frustrating for everyone.
For soccer, in the Champion’s League, victory is sweet for Manchester United thrashing AS Roma 7 – 1, and great job that Liverpool beat PSV Eindhoven since they defeated my favourite team Arsenal. There is going to be a big match this coming Saturday with Arsenal, at home versus Bolton. I really hope Arsenal can win this and not draw or concede any goals. If they happen to lose, they will be fifth on the tables which will not be a good sign.

I can assure that my industrial training is more or less confirmed with the company I am working in. I asked my manager if I can come back to the company as part of my attachment next year and she agreed. I am of course very delighted after hearing that. If I can really go back to this company next year, the traveling will be convenient and I can also learn more new things then.
I had lunch with my church youth leader at the hawker centre near my office. We met at twelve, ate and talked about some church matters. This is the first time this month that I eat out. On the other days, I normally buy my food back to the office to eat, because it is much cleaner there and I get to enjoy the air conditioning.
Work will definitely be the thing I will miss the most for these holidays and I cannot deny it. This is my first job as an office staff and I have learnt quite a lot of things here. The last time, I was working at a café and it was pretty interesting too. However, I think this job pays better and I do not have to work on weekends and public holidays, which is a very good thing for a person like me as my weekends are normally occupied. Two more days, I am going to make the best of it and do a good job before I go back to school next Monday.

Three days to the last day of work. I can say I am enjoying every part of it even though I get bored at work sometimes. I will definitely miss the holidays and I hope that I will be able to come back to this company when I have an industrial training in the second semester of year two. If I get to come back to this company, it will be very exciting as I can learn a lot of new things and it is also very convenient to my house.
The workload is manageable and I am only busy at certain times of the day. I would also like to thank God for the weather, as it only rained the moment I reached home and not before that. I am thankful that he has answered my prayers and I pray that I might be able to continue this daily walk with Him. The only thing I have to do before school reopens is to clean my cupboards and room.

Four more days left at work before the new school semester starts for me. Sometimes I feel that working is not very fun, because I get stressed up when I cannot get an assignment done properly. I only like the part where I can earn money. The food around my office area is good, so I only worry about getting assignments that I cannot handle well.
I do not know if I will miss these holidays or will I prefer to go back to school and study. I hope that I will be able to make this semester a good one and not procrastinate or waste my time or things that are not so important. Time management is the key word that I need to work on. Discipline is next in line. I think I really lack these two qualities in my life.
I think my blog needs a revamp. It looks pretty boring to me and it lacks a bit of colours and pictures. Maybe I will add more photos to it when I have the time. The moment school reopens, I doubt I will have the time to blog. The countdown to the new semester is six days.
I still need to pack my room and cupboards before I start school. It seems so difficult to do this because I work in the day time and come back only in the evening. By that time, I have no mood and peace to pack my room. Maybe this Sunday will be a good day, I hope.

If I ever had the worst weekend, it will be this weekend. This is because it is the first time in this season that Arsenal lost at their home ground in soccer by one goal. The goal was supposedly offside, but I just do not understand what the referee was doing. Anyway, that caused me to lose my sleep the whole night, mourning over their lost in the soccer match.
This morning, I woke up at about five thirty to go to church to set up the sound system. I am involved in the worship team, that is why I have to be in church half an hour before the service starts, which is at six thirty. The reason service was at six thirty is because it is Easter Sunday and my church have it as a special service called Easter Sunrise Service.
The church was packed with people by the time the service started and I think the estimated number of people is about three hundred. The sound system was quite easy to managed, as Timothy was around to guide me. After the service, we had breakfast provided in the canteen before proceeding to the hall for the games organised by the Boys Brigade.
The games were neither fun nor well organised. Anyway, I only liked the captain’s ball game which my group got second overall. I walked home with my brother after the games together with two of my friends who were on the way home too.
In the afternoon, I drove my brother to tuition and my father to look at some guitars in town. It was really a tiring day after so many activities and driving the whole afternoon.

For no particular reason, I just managed to wake up at eight in the morning without a wake up call. After I wash up, I ate my breakfast and used the my lap top for awhile to check my emails before going to the market with my mother.
The market was as crowded as any other days and my mother and I had to squeeze in between people just to get through from shop to shop. We bought chicken, fish, and some vegetables before heading home for lunch. That was how I spent my Saturday morning. I think it is pretty boring compared to my other Saturdays where I go out to the sea for sailing or windsurfing.
In the afternoon, I went to church to help out in the song presentation for Easter Sunday. I helped to set up the sound system and also set up the microphones. It was quite tedious for me, because I was on duty alone. My friend who was supposed to come and help me was sick at the last minute and could not make it down. I was glad that I could manage the sound system alone although I am not very good at it.
Dinner was a disappointment. The restaurant that my family was supposed to go to was fully booked and they had no crabs left for sale. In the end, we ended up eating in a coffee shop nearby our house. The food was mediocre and I think they really gave us too much food that we had trouble finishing it. The vegetable was only half eaten as no one could finish it, so it went to waste.

Good Friday marks the death of Jesus Christ. This morning I went to church for Good Friday service and it ended at around eleven plus. After that, I hang around in church talking to my friends before going home for lunch. Lunch at home was horrible and not filling at all. I had plain porridge and some dishes with it of course.
After having my lunch, I went to church for worship practice. I arrived in church early, so Jeremy taught me and Daryl how to play poker. This is the first time I learnt how to play poker and I found it quite interesting. The game is quite risky though, because you have to depend on your luck most of the time.
Church worship practice ended at around four plus. I went home to get ready to go to my cousin’s first birthday party. The party was held at Savannah Condo Park and the place was really big. I took quite long to walk around the whole estate. The place was really very nice, but too bad it is not close to the train station and there are no buses that go into the estate. Anyway, it is a good experience going there to see what the place looks like.
I have no plans for tomorrow yet, but I think I will spend time packing up my room if I am not going out. Sunday I will be going to church again and I have to be down by six in the morning because it is a sunrise service. I should be able to wake up on time.

The first time that I work overtime. Just when I was about to go home, my manager printed a whole stack of catalogs and she needed me to file them into a file for her. Since it was still early for church, I did not mind staying on and help out as it was part of my work also. After I was done with the filing, I went home immediately to eat my dinner and get changed to go to church.
My parents worked till quite late so I had to walk to church with my brother. The service was about one hour plus and my parents did not managed to make it there in time. After service, I talked to my friends for awhile before heading home with my siblings.
Talking about food, I ate fried rice for lunch and I also ate fried rice for dinner. Now it seems that the fried rice have overtaken the chicken rice in my food list. Anyway, both lunch and dinner tasted great.
Tomorrow will be a busy day because I have to attend church in the morning and I have a party to attend in the afternoon and night. One party in the afternoon, followed by another party in the night, I am bound to be very tired after I come home. I just pray for good weather and that God will take care of me.

Tomorrow is Maundy Thursday and I will have to go to church in the night. For this week I will be going for church on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. It also means one more day at work for this week because Friday is a public holiday.
I ate chicken rice for lunch because I am beginning to miss it again. From the looks of it, it seems that I cannot live without chicken rice. I think I eat at least one serving of chicken rice every week. Sometimes I eat chicken rice everyday if I have no choice and I do not get sick of it. Okay, enough about the chicken rice talk.
I was given quite a lot of data entry to do this afternoon at work and I could not finish it in the time given to me, but my colleague took over my job and continued the rest of the work for me because it was quite urgent. I felt quite bad because this is first time I did not complete the assignment given to me. Anyway, the workload was quite heavy so I could not really manage and had to give the work to someone else to do. More work to do tomorrow and five more days to go next week before I start school.

Three pieces of biscuit was what I had for breakfast this morning. I had a funny feeling when I was eating the biscuits for breakfast because I normally take bread in the morning and never biscuits. This is one rare incident, but I will try not to eat biscuits for breakfast because it does not make me full and it does not give me enough energy for the day.
While I was on my way to go and buy lunch, I was nearly knocked down by a lorry. You may ask me why, but it was definitely the driver’s fault. This stupid driver parked his stupid lorry in front of the car park entrance and started smoking while in the vehicle. He on his break down lights, so I thought he would not want to move off, but who knows he is so stupid to suddenly drive forward while I was crossing the road. I was lucky to have escaped his path in time, because the driver might be stupid enough to knock me down too.
I really thank God for watching over me and also for holding back the rain while I was out of the office going to get my lunch. Two more days of work for this week and a total of seven more days before I complete my contract. I will definitely miss the days at work, but school is definitely a priority now.
I also registered for my General Elective Module. I chose to sign up for "Financial Management For Engineers", because it is interesting and I think I will be able to apply it into my life next time. Some of my friends will also be joining me for this module.

If I am counting down, I will have to work for only eight more days. That means that I can earn about four hundred more dollars. Forget about the money, I just love my job because I do not get so stressed up by the workload and the people there are quite nice to me. Anyway, I have to stop working because I have to go back to school to continue studying. I do not like the idea of studying, but that is the only thing I can do to get me somewhere.
I was quite surprised to be given more work in the morning then in the afternoon. It is very rare for this to happen because I am normally given more work in the afternoon. Anyway, work was just as good compared to the other days.
This Friday is Good Friday and I do not need to go to work. However, I will be going to church for service in the morning. Friday is definitely going to be a busy day for me, but I am prepared for it. I got two parties to attend and I have to go to church in the morning. I just pray that I am able to adapt to the school life when school reopens and that I will be able to make this semester a good one.

As the days of my holidays get lesser by the day, I think I am really not ready to go back to school. Schooling will make me busy and unhappy. Yes, I hate studying and I do not know why. It is only recently that I keep getting this feeling that I am studying for a worthless certificate. Anyway, it is just two more years, so I must press on and complete this course to move on.
I happen to sleep at about one because I could not sleep. I woke up at six to check the soccer scores of the matches the night before. After that, I drove my father to the supermarket to buy some groceries before heading home to prepare to go to church.
I helped out at the worship because I was on duty. The worship went on well and I think I must thank God for that. The sermon was rather short and it was about Easter. After the service, I packed up the sound room before going out to eat with Chester.
In the afternoon, I went down to the National Sailing Centre to help my father repair one of the damaged sails. It was quite tiring as the sail was very big and difficult to manage. I was glad the sail was repaired, so I do not have to worry about it again.
Dinner will be at my grandmother’s house tonight. I hope my cousin will be going so at least I will not be so bored.
