The funny thing is that I woke up at about six because I was bitten by mosquitoes and could not sleep comfortably. After that, I went back to sleep until eleven thirty. This was to make up for my loss sleep due to the irritating mosquitoes that keep buzzing in my ears.

I woke up just in time for lunch, which was laksa cooked by my maid. After lunch, I brought the digital video disc player to the service centre for repair as it was faulty. It was rather heavy and bulky, therefore I took a direct bus there to save energy. The service centre staff was quite efficient and I managed to drop the faulty item off in less than five minutes.

From the service centre, I took a train down to Bugis to meet my mother to do some shopping with her friend whom she met for lunch. We bought some household items from the shops there before heading home.

In the evening, I had a scout meeting regarding the coming recruit training camp. The meeting lasted for about two and a half hours, but it was not boring as we had to discuss about the programme for the camp.

After the meeting, we planned what to do in the camp after lights out since we were the camp organisers. We all agreed on playing bridge throughout the last night of the camp and go home straight after that. I cannot wait for that day to come, but I think it will be a very tiring night.
