The youth ministry’s fifth anniversary. We had a very big cake in a shape of the number five. Every one of the youth was given a share of the cake which was cut up by the leaders. The youth ministry has currently about one hundred youths making up of almost fifty percent of the church. Being in the church for a few years now, I can see that the youth ministry has grown a lot in not only in number but spiritually as well.
After the celebration, we ate the cake and some light refreshments before playing bridge. I think we made the most noise in the canteen because we were all laughing, screaming and shouting all at the same time. It was a joyous occasion and playing bridge was fun so many of us cannot contain our joy but let it out instead. I am glad to see the youth ministry in my church grow and I pray for more new comers to join the family.
After playing bridge, we talked among ourselves and kept arguing over which junior college is the best. It was so obvious that Anglo Chinese Junior College is the most all rounder one, but we still kept arguing over the matter because some people are just so stubborn.
Later at about twelve thirty, I left the church with Daryl as he was going out to play pool while I had to go home to study for all my tests this week. I hate to go to school, but I need my certificate to graduate first. It is just studying in the afternoon, but I think I will go for a run later at about four.
