Celebrating my nineteen birthday just makes me feel so old. No matter what, I am still considered young because I am young after all. The whole morning was sleepless for me because I just could not get into bed and messages from my friends keep coming in at wee hours. I would like to thank everyone for making my nineteenth birthday so memorable.

The messages were encouraging. The uncalled for birthday celebration was a surprise indeed. I do not know what will be installed for me at church tomorrow, but I really hope there will be no cake. I just have bad vibes when it comes to the cake in a birthday celebration.

Waking up at ten was really a grave mistake as I spent my time sleeping instead of studying for my examinations. My father brought me to the scout headquarters in the afternoon for a meeting which lasted till the evening. The meeting was quite boring for me, but I managed to stay awake.

In the evening, I went over to my friend’s house for a farewell party of one of the church member’s family will be going back to their hometown in Korea. My friends also celebrated my birthday which was uncalled for, but I had to thank them anyway. We watched soccer after that till about eleven before going home.
