I am so lethargic and I can hardly open my eyes when I woke at seven this morning. I have to go down to my secondary school to help out in the open house and attend a scout meeting there after that. As I was driving to my secondary school, I felt like sleeping. The air conditioning made me feel so comfortable and my eyes felt like closing but I told myself I cannot fall sleep because I was driving. I cannot imagine myself driving and sleeping at the same time.
Upon reaching my secondary school, I went straight to the parade square where all the other uniform groups set up their displays and stuff. I think the scout one is pretty impressive this year. At least there is a tower and some video slides being played.
I met some of my secondary school friends there. I also met my Chemistry teacher there and talked to her for awhile. I was glad she still remembers me and asked me about my life in my new school. I told her life there is quite challenging and there are a lot of projects to do.
Being back in my secondary school brings back some fond memories. I really miss the times when my friends and I wear uniform to school which many of us do not do it now. Sometimes the feeling of not being able to be in uniform makes me jealous of my younger peers, but I have to leave this part of life aside in order to move on.
I left the school at about three plus after the meeting, and drive down to West Coast Park for my class gathering. I reached there quite early and it was very hot there. My classmates came about an hour later with the food and drinks. I stayed for the barbeque before going home to do some work and sleep.
