I Want To Go Metamorphosis

It to let me go for this camp because it is only held once a year, and the closing date for seems that almost all my campus crusade friends, including Hai Kiat have signed up for the metamorphosis camp except me. The reason is because my mother thinks that the camp fees are too expensive and she said that it is also not worth it. I really want to go to this camp because I can get to know God more through the workshops and also hear and share with other people about God. Through this camp, I can also make new friends from other polytechnics and students from junior colleges as well. I must pray that my mother will agree signing up is in two weeks time.

It rained in the evening when I was going home with Hai Kiat, but the rain stopped before we got off the train so we did not have to get wet. Thank God. School is rather stressful because of the two tests I got. I think I may not be able do well from the number of unattempted questions, but I will just leave it all to God.

Tomorrow there will be an overnight prayer meeting and it will be held in a church next to my school. I am still deciding on whether I should go or not since it’s an overnight event. I will pray about it and let God guide me. Next week will be another mathematics test on all the various types of differentiation. I should be spending my Saturday and Sunday practising on my tutorials to be well prepared for this test.

Driving Them Up The Walls

The day is so great that I can hardly describe it. Besides the stress from the two tests that I will be taking tomorrow, everything else seems to be fine. I woke up very early this morning at about six to go for my driving practical test. I was very nervous initially, but I overcome my fear by praying to God and also taking deep breathes as advised by the instructors. The results were not satisfying to me, but I still managed to pass. I was really delighted as I waited so long for this day and I finally got a driving license. However, I will not be driving so soon because I am not so confident.

After taking the test and watching the video on road safety, I race to the traffic police office to make my driving license. I was in a hurry because I was already late for school and cannot afford to waste anymore time. I managed to reach school missing only one lesson, which was chemistry practical. I headed straight for microbiology class and was the first to reach the classroom. The lesson was only an hour and after that I went for lunch with Bilson and Peter at food court one.

Computer do it yourself was not so interesting, but at least I managed to pay attention and not fall asleep. After that, I went to the campus crusade room to study for my mathematics and chemistry test. Hai Kiat came at about five to teach me chemistry and it was helpful. He went to talk to Robin after teaching me and I studied until he came back before going leaving the school together.

Dinner was with my extended family at a Chinese restaurant in Paya Lebar and I arrived late because I was studying in school. The food was cold by the time I reached there, but I still ate it as I was hungry and had no other choice. I reached home at about ten thirty and was so tired that I could hardly open my eyes. Praise the Lord for helping and guiding me through this day.

Exactly Eight Hours Of Sleep

I slept at twelve and woke up at eight this morning, so that’s exactly eight hours of sleep. I still felt very tired even though I think that was enough rest for me. The whole of last night was spent mainly on doing the innovative design project which must be presented. I also have a mathematics test later in school and I am ready for it, because I did two hours of practice last week and it should be sufficient. One presentation and one test will be over, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

I will be going to school at about nine, so that I can reach there by ten for my test. After the test will be till lunch time, followed by one hour of chemistry and two hours of chemical process lesson. The innovative design lesson will be the last lesson of the day and ends at six in the evening. My group has a presentation to do during that lesson and I hope I do not get nervous and my group can present well too.

On Thursday I have two tests which are chemistry and mathematics. Next week, I have one mathematics test and a few projects to do. Let’s just hope I am able to complete all my projects and study hard for my upcoming tests.

Three Weeks To The Holidays

Will the work ever end? I asked myself this question. It sounds like a stupid question because work will never end even if I complete polytechnic education. I just received two more projects which is worth quite a few marks and one of it is a presentation which needs to be done in about two weeks time.

It seems that I receive the projects faster than I can complete them. Time flies so fast and everyday is spent only on projects and revision for the upcoming tests, which I have at least two every week. I am so busy with work that I cannot manage my time anymore. Quiet time has become study time and I really cannot help it because I get so tired after studying.

The short term break will be here soon and I think I will use that time to catch up on my work at a slower pace than school and also spend more time with God. I must also go for bowling training, because I have missed it for more than a month. I just hope the coach will not get angry with me when he sees me bowl with such lousy skills.

Search me God and lend me your helping hand. Guide me and be my shepherd and that my burdens will be given unto You. Lord, I pray that You will take away all the stress and tiredness in me. Teach me to manage my time properly and lead a Christ-like life. Amen.

School Work Or Wedding First

Felt really stress these few days because of the school work that I have. All my other friends are enjoying themselves except me and I am kind of jealous. Sometimes, I wonder why I made such a stupid decision to come to the polytechnic or this course which is so taxing. My classmates seem to be able to cope with their work, but somehow I cannot. Maybe they are used to this polytechnic lifestyle, but I have no time to relax for sure.

My outings with my other school friends are ruin because I have no time to spend with them. The saddest thing is that my holidays are next year and they would be schooling by then. I cannot help it but the workload I receive is almost impossible to complete. I have to sleep at wee hours in the morning and get up early to go to school. I was also late one of the days because I could not wake up.

Three more weeks to go before the short break, not holidays. I am already trying my best to persevere on but I am almost out of energy and tolerance. Adding onto the workload is an average of two tests every week which is my greatest fear. If I cannot finish my projects and reports, how can I find the time to study?

Tomorrow will be another day of school and I hope there will be no more new assignments coming up so that I will get a chance to breathe. Tonight, I have a wedding dinner to attend. I hope it will not end so late so that I can go home early and get some rest. I wanted to give the wedding a miss, but it would not be nice. I still have so much work to do that I cannot find time even for a wedding dinner for just one night. However, tonight I will just go and hopefully the dinner ends early.

Food Fair Or Scout Meeting

Scout meeting took place in the morning at about eight thirty and ended at noon. The leaders spoke to us about the scout group’s future plan and the various activities planned for us. Although the meeting was quite boring, we were kept busy with the food the teachers ordered.

The teachers kept offering us so much food that we could not finish it as we have already eaten our breakfast and mine was rather heavy. We ate food like nasi lemak, otah, satay and chicken wings, which are all very filling. Luckily, I was able to finish most of the food offered to me but there was also some wastage.

My father fetched me home after the meeting. I think I will spend the afternoon practicing my mathematics since I am free and maybe do some packing up in my room if I have the time, since my room is in such a big mess and people will think that I am a very messy person if I do not do anything about it.

Tonight, there will be a nice show to watch on television, so I guess I will be staying at home to enjoy it.

First Time Late For School

I have never been late for school in polytechnic before until now. I slept at about twelve but I do not know why I just cannot wake up this morning. My sister made things worst by helping me turn off my alarm. In the end, my maid woke me up at about seven fifty and I had to rush to school. I reached there at nine and was late by an hour. Luckily the lecturer did not scold me. I also apologise to her after the lesson and explain to her the reason I was late.

After the lesson, I went to the computer lab to practice some mathematics questions for the test next week. I spent about two hours practicing before going to the campus crusade room to meet my friends for lunch. Jonathan, Khalis and I went to Pizza Hut for lunch and the food there was really delicious. The meal we ordered was a four person serving, so we could not finish the food. It was really a waste as we took so much salad and hardly touch it. However, we pack two slices of pizza for Jason.

Later we all went back to the campus crusade room and Ian taught me mathematics. We studied for about two hours before he went for worship planning and I went home with Hai Kiat.

Shopping In Midst Of School

Lessons were short because there is no microbiology practical this week. However, next Thursday there would be practical, so it will be a long Thursday next week. I also had my second microbiology test. It was not as bad as I managed to do most of the questions correctly.

I also met a lot of my friends in school. First, I met Jessica, then I met my primary school friend, next I met my class tutor when I was going home. It was a day full of coincidence.

In the evening, Wilson fetched me from the traffic light junction near my house to my home. He saw me and called to me because I did not see him. It was really funny, as he was horning at me initially and I did not even realise that his car was in front of me.

Upon reaching home, I ate my dinner and my mother brought me and my siblings out to Bugis Junction to buy some groceries. We shopped at Cold Storage and also met Uncle Boon Leng there. He was really surprised to see us. My mother gave him a lift home as he just lives across our house. I got home at about ten plus and was all drained.

Work Completed Or Undone

The deadline for two of my reports. One of it is a formal report for chemistry and the other one is a lab report for chemical process principles. I would count myself lucky that I managed to complete the two reports on time, or else I may lose some marks for handing it up later than the deadline. I spent almost up to midnight the day before to complete the chemical process principles lab report. It was because one of my classmates did it at the last minute and I had to rush the whole report in just one day. Thankfully, I finished it before midnight and got to school on time.

Although I already handed in two reports, I still have two more to do. I just got a new one this morning from the chemical process principles practical session. I wish I have more time to do it, but the weekends should be sufficient.

The day started with the chemical process principles practical lesson and our experiment was the longest of all. We had a total of about thirty minutes of waiting time as we were doing grinding and sieving. The experiment was quite boring, but I managed to stay awake by talking with my other classmates who were done with their experiments.

After that, we had microbiology and I could not understand the topics well as it was getting more and more complicated by the week. Luckily for me, the notes are helpful enough and I can also ask my friends when I am in doubt.

Lunch was at food court three with Bilson, Jun Kai, and his friend. Bilson and I went straight for our computer do it yourself lesson straight after eating. We watched a video on how to build a personal computer and it was pretty interesting, but the video was not very clear as it was copied from a video tape by the lecturer. After lessons, Bilson and I went to play badminton.

Full Of Delight And Laughter

This morning I was rushing my innovative design project and was almost late for school. I arrived just in time to meet my classmates and we walked to class together as usual. Our mathematics lesson was used to prepare us for the upcoming mathematics test which is next week. After that, we went for lunch as a class. It was one of classmate’s birthday so there was a cake to eat.

The last lesson for the day was innovative design and it was really a lesson full of laughter. Our lecturers were both very humourous and they keep making us laugh. The various groups did a presentation on their group’s product except my group and one other group which will be presenting next week due to lack of time.

I went home with my classmates after that and was quite tired. Two days from now will be my microbiology test and I must study at least some topics by tonight or I will not be able to do well. I will also have to complete my chemical process principles practical report to hand up tomorrow.

Can The Stress Stop Building

One test down, but I think I cannot get a distinction for it because I did not do my conclusion and discussion well. Anyway it is already over so I just have to wait for the results and I hope that it will be good. I have another test on Thursday which is microbiology. I have no time to study for it, but I really hope I can find time to study for it as it is all theory.

I have three tests the following week and also a formal report to hand up. The time that I have seems to be insufficient, but I just have to continue doing all that I can in order to complete all my assignments. Lessons in school also end very late everyday like five or six in the evening, and by the time I get home, bathe, and finish my dinner it will be like seven. So many things to do in such little time, but I think I must really manage my time well in order to reduce the stress that is building up in me.

After two weeks, or by early December, I think the workload for me will be reduced as the year end holidays are approaching. I cannot wait to go out with my friends from other schools and also cannot wait for Christmas. An exciting December awaits and I hope to be able to enjoy myself to the fullest.

Acting Out For The Youths

So sad my friend cannot come and teach me again this morning because he had some stuff to prepare. Luckily Li Shan was there again, so I studied with her and we talked about school life as usual. Later Fu Wei came and joined us and we talked till service started, so I did not really study this morning.

Church worship was good as the sound crews did not make any mistakes and the music was really nice and uplifting. After worship, I went for youth programme and there was a skit put up by some of the youths. It was really funny, especially Daryl, who acted as the cool soccer captain.

After the youth programme, I went for cell group. We had to act out a skit against pre-marital sex and we took quite long to discuss and get everything settled. However, after much planning and discussion, we finally came up with a skit. I think it was pretty funny, and I hope that the message can get across to the younger youths watching it next week.

Lunch was at a coffee shop near my house. I went there together with Fu Wei and some of the other post secondary cell group people. We ate fish porridge and fish soup because the place is famous for their fish dishes. We also talked a lot and the other cell group leaders were very funny. They kept joking about the chilli padi and about many other things. I went home after lunch to study my computer do it yourself module, which is such a killer.

Instructor Versus Student Race

Windsurfing filled my day with joy but also tiredness. I woke up at about seven in the morning to go to the National Sailing Centre, which is located at East Coast Park. My father sent me there and I was the first to arrive. At about eight thirty, almost all the students were here except for Han kiat and Kok Meng, who were the instructors as well. They came shortly at about nine and we finished rigging up the sails by the time they came.

The whole morning was spent on revising the tacks and gybes with the students. The Dunearn Secondary School boys were fast learners and they had no problem with it. We later had a mini race just before lunch and I came in first by a big margin. However, I was the instructor so no credits should be given to me. I think that my students did pretty well in the race because they did not give up despite the fact that they keep capsizing or were far behind the leader.

Lunch was the time to spend money as the food at National Sailing Centre is very expensive and the portion is rather small. I ate beef hor fun like last week and we continued windsurfing after that. Bryce treated me a bottle of drink which was really kind of him but he wanted my father to send him to the train station that’s why.

Windsurfed for about another three hours and I got my energy totally drained. The wind was so fantastic that I could hike out so much and speed through the water like a power boat. The wind was strong that I suffered blisters on my hand too. However, I think it was worth it and I hope to be able to teach again soon in December when there are new students.

All the Dunearn Secondary School boys passed, while the rest failed. We did not want to fail the other students but we had certain standards to maintain, so no offence to the students. Overall, I think everyone did well and I hope to see my students again soon.

One Down But Continue Going

Just completed my chemistry formal report and I am very pleased because I have just one more formal report to go, which is microbiology. Although the formal report is not easy to do, I still hope to complete it by next week no matter what so that I can spend more time studying for the upcoming examinations, which is next year.

Mathematics lesson ended at about ten because the teacher wanted to go through the test paper and point out to us our mistakes. After that, I went for breakfast at food court one with my classmates and I bought chicken porridge which only cost a dollar.

We went to the library to book a project room straight after breakfast to do some of our school work. I completed my chemistry report in about an hour and went for lunch after that at food court six with my campus crusade friends.

After lunch, I met Wee Hong at the campus crusade room so we talked and he also helped me with my computer do it yourself module. We went home together at about three in the afternoon and he said that he will be attending church this week. I cannot wait for Sunday to come.

Some Done, More To Come

I almost completed one of my formal reports and I was so happy that there is less work for me now. However, my happiness only lasted till late afternoon. After my microbiology practical, I was told that I had to hand up another formal report two weeks from now. It is really frustrating but I have no choice as it will count towards my final assessment in microbiology.

Formal reports are not easy to do as I need to do a lot of research not only from the internet but also from books. It takes about a week to do a good report so I will have to start really soon if I want to do it well and not rush it through at the last minute.

Although the school hours were long and ended at about five, I think I am enjoying my time when I get to meet up with my campus crusade friends to talk awhile and go home together. I just hope that I can enjoy school and learn to adapt well to the difficult and not so interesting modules.

Cannot Get Enough Projects

Formal reports, practical reports, tests and tutorials are the many things to do in such little time. After coming back from the E-learning week, I think that my workload has just increased tremendously. I am having about two tests a week on average and I do not have enough time to study.

I also have about two reports a week to hand up and also a formal report which will be due next week. It is really not easy to do reports as I have to work with my other classmates to get it done. Next week, I have to do a business proposal for my innovative design module and my group has not started on anything yet. I hope we will be able to complete it on time and also do our best to get good grades as it is worth thirty percent of our overall marks.

My lessons were short because the chemistry practical was very simple. We only had to draw molecular structures and my group finished first. I had lunch with Bilson and his friend before going for our computer do it yourself class. After that, I went to take my test before meeting up with Hai Kiat to go home.

Please Give Me Some Break

I struggled out of bed as usual, and for the first time I did not turn off my alarm. I left it ringing until my maid helped me turn it off. I quickly get out of bed at about seven thirty and ate my breakfast. The next thing I did was to rush my chemistry formal report which is due tomorrow. The heavy workload from school is really killing me but I cannot give up just yet, as this will be over in about two weeks or so. I hope to be able to find some time to relax and also go out with my friends just before the end of this year to chill out.

Tomorrow will be my first chemical process test this semester and I am going to spend the whole night and tomorrow’s free time to study. I really want to score for this module because there is only four chapters.

I went to the campus crusade room to meet up with some of my friends. They were really funny, because they are not studying for their mid semester tests and even called me to play badminton with them. I was persistent to stay and study in the campus crusade room so I did not join them although I was very tempted to join them. However, I told myself to have self control in order to achieve better results.

Three Stressful Weeks To Go

I was almost late for school as I could not wake up this morning despite repeated wake up calls from my maid and the alarm clock. I was so tired that even eight hours of sleep seems like it is not enough for me.

Lessons were boring as usual and it made me want to sleep but I still managed to keep myself awake. I also had my software applications test and I think I did alright as I managed to attempt most of the questions confidently.

I have a test on chemical process principles on Wednesday, a formal report to hand in also on Wednesday, a test on microbiology next week, chemical process report next week and many other projects and work to be done. I hope I am able to manage my time well and get through this week without falling sick.

One Day Before School Open

I slept at about one in the morning and woke up at about eight in the morning to study. I plan to meet my friend to study in the church canteen in the morning but he overslept. In the end, I had to study alone with no one to help me. Luckily, one of my friends who was also my ex junior college schoolmate came to study too, so we studied together for awhile before the church service started.

Youth programme was interesting. We had two missionaries who worked in Japan came to speak to us. They showed us a video of the place they stayed in and shared with us their experiences in Japan. After that, I went for cell group and we had the open topic on pre-marital sex.

Lunch was dim sum at a coffee shop near the church. The place was very quiet because we went there after the lunch crowd left and the food was great. My whole afternoon will be reserved for studying with Bilson and Khalis as I have a test on software applications tomorrow. I hope to be able to score for this module as it is an open book test. Tonight, I am going for my drum lessons which is going to be interesting as the instructor will be teaching us some new strokes.

Back To Windsurfing Instructor

I am so glad to be able to windsurf once again after the haze has gone away. It has been like a month since I last windsurf. I got a new class to teach and there were only seven students as one of them was sick and could not attend the lesson.

The weather was very hot and I felt like I was going to melt in the morning. However, in the afternoon after lunch, one of the students felt giddy and he decided to go home. At about two, it started to rain and although the wind was very good but the staff there did not allow us to windsurf so we had to stay on shore. My friends and I felt very cold as it was very windy and we were all wet, so we went to the toilet to have a hot bath. The hot bath was really warm and it took the shivers away from us.

We ended lessons slightly earlier due to the bad weather. My mother picked me from the sailing centre and also gave two of my friends who are also instructors a lift to the bus stop.

After dinner, my mother gave me my new pillow which she bought in the afternoon. The pillow is really soft and fluffy compared to my present one. Thanks mummy.

Materialistic People Like Me

Why are people so materialistic in this world including me? I also do not know the reason but maybe it is to show off one’s wealth. I am also quite a materialistic person, always saving money to buy new accessories and gadgets to please myself.

I cannot wait to buy my new bowling equipment at the start of next year when I save enough money. It will cost me about two hundred and fifty dollars but I really need it because I need a good bowling ball that can hook well so that I can bowl better. The package comes with bowling shoes and a bag too so it is quite a bargain.

One Dollar Bowling Roll Off

I slept at about four in the morning because I could not sleep and I also do not know the cause of it. I still managed to wake up at eight thirty to get ready to meet my friends at Kallang train station to go bowling somewhere near Beach Road. My friends and I met punctually and I was the latest to reach there even though I lived the nearest. We then headed to the bus interchange to take a direct bus to the bowling alley which was only about five stops away.

The cost for each game was only one dollar as there was a promotion for students in the morning only. We played a total of seven games each and it was great fun. I tried playing with different styles because the lane was coated with heavy oil. I would say my performance was lousy because I keep getting very low scores. The reason, I have not been attending bowling training for quite some time due to heavy school workload.

Rooftop Garden In Vivo City

Yesterday, I was at the rooftop garden in Vivo City which is located just across Sentosa Island with my campus crusade friends. I met them there for prayer in the morning and it was quite windy there. The scenery there was beautiful, but it would be better if the rooftop garden was higher. I could see the merlion from the viewing area which was directly facing Sentosa Island.

After prayer, we headed straight to the train station to wait for the other crusaders and my friend Wee Hong. We then headed to Sentosa by the shuttle bus. Below is one of the pictures taken at the rooftop garden in Vivo City, where some of my friends walk through the water carrying bulky objects like a box of food and even a radio. It was so funny when they said they wanted to try walking on water just like how Peter walk on water with Jesus. It was really a great day and my first time at Vivo City. Hope to go there again soon although it is very crowded on weekends.

Sentosa And Vivo City Outing

I woke up at about six this morning to go to Harbourfront train station to meet my campus crusade friends for prayer. Only about ten of us turned up for the prayer meeting, but it was really great as we got to fellowship with one another and also pray for the people around us.

We prayed till about ten before setting off to Sentosa Island by shuttle bus. The weather was rather hot but we still went to the beach to play beach volleyball and captain’s ball before taking our lunch. At about one plus in the afternoon, Hai Kiat and I left Sentosa Island because he had to do a project and I had to go home to do my E-learning.

Studying Through The Lap Top

The start of E-learning week. I woke up at about ten in the morning which is considered very late to me. I immediately ate my breakfast and started doing my E-learning straight after that. The school E-learning server was very slow and I think it is because many people are doing their E-learning too. It was really frustrating to work on such a slow server, but I really cannot complain as I woke up late in the first place, or it would not have happened.

I also skipped my bowling training as I was doing my E-learning and did not bother to check the time. I only found out that I was running late about half an hour before the training starts so I decided to skip training and continue doing my E-learning.

Come To Church With Me

A blessed Sunday I would say to describe this day. I finally brought Wee Hong, my bowling friend, to church and he found it pretty interesting. I could see him really eager to know God and participating actively during worship. He also joined me for cell group and I introduced him to some of my friends too. I would really like to thank God for this day, where I can not only bring my friend to church, but also share with him the gospel slowly through the sermons and bible studies.

Wee Hong was punctual and I fetched him from the bus stop which was just outside the church at about nine thirty. He indicated that he would be coming to church next week too and it was really a good thing as he can get to know God better. Chester also came and joined us for cell group although he did not come for the service. It is really good to see my friends coming to church and learn more about God.

Tonight, I will be going for my drum lessons. I think it will be quite boring because some of my friends will not be going. One of them will be sitting for the GCE 'O' Level Examination tomorrow and another one has a dinner to attend.

E-Learning Straight Ahead

Next week will be E-learning week and that means I do not need to go to school. Although I do not have to go to school, I have more school work to do and it needs to be done online. It sounds quite stupid but I still have to do it whether I like it or not. I like the "do not need to go to school" part best, but I think I will be going back to school on certain days to meet up with some of my friends.

I followed my mother to the old house which we rented out, to supervise the air conditioner maintenance man and also talk to the house agents. I really hope the market can pick up soon so my parents can sell the old house as it is so old and I do not like it.

I spent my time in the old house listening to music on my mp3 and also did some of my work as I brought my lap top there. I am so lucky I brought some of my school work there to do as my mother and I spent about two hours waiting for the maintenance to be done.

I can say that my time spent there was worthwhile as I managed to do some of my chemistry formal report. It was quite interesting but I got bored of it after awhile. Tonight, there will be nice television shows to watch, so at least I have something to do in the night.

Friday Is My Badminton Day

My mathematics lesson ended really early like about nine plus when it is supposed to end at ten. I then went to the library with some my classmates to wait for them to finish doing their chemical process project before going to the Microbiology lab. We went to the Microbiology lab to see our bacteria cultures that we did yesterday. My group did well as the teacher told us that it was very well done. I hope we can get a good grade for this experiment.

My classmates and I went for lunch at food court three after seeing our experiments. We ate and talked for about one hour before I went to the campus crusade room to meet my other friends. I also joined Hai Kiat for lunch at food court six, even though I ate already as I had nothing to do anyway. We talked a lot about our school stuff and it was a great time of sharing. We even went out of the school to sit down and talk at the playground as it was very cool and quiet there.

The whole afternoon was reserved for badminton. I played really badly but Qing Wen taught me and Bilson some tricks and how to play better. By the time we finish playing, I was totally covered with perspiration and was really tired.

At about five plus, I went home with Hai Kiat as his lives quite near me. We talked and shared a lot with each other and I hope to see him soon. Next week, it will be E-learning week so I can stay at home and catch up on my school work that I am not sure of. Hope I will make E-learning week a fruitful one and not procrastinate.

Spiritual Breakthrough Is Here

Praying for some of my friend’s salvation is part of my prayer to God every night. Sometimes it seems like nothing is happening, but I still continue praying to Him as I know that he has better plans. Sometimes it becomes very frustrating when my prayers are not answered or when my friends do not want to come to church with me after repeated invitations, which I have to humble myself just to ask them to join me for a church service.

On Tuesday night, my friend Wee Hong, whom I met through bowling, messaged me telling me that he was interested to come to my church as he was free. On hearing this, I was really glad as I have ask him to come to church for quite some time. I was really excited that God finally answered my prayer after four months. I told him to meet me at the train station on Sunday morning so that I could bring him to church and hopefully share the gospel with him.

However, God also blessed two of my other friends that I prayed for. One of them who is my junior in secondary school is currently attending Church of Singapore (Bukit Timah) with one of his friend who invited him there. He told me that he finally found a church to settle in and I am really thankful for that.

Also, another friend whom I prayed for told me that he believe in Jesus about a month ago. However, I am still praying for him as he does not attend church. I am really very delighted to see God working in many of my friend’s lives and I hope that the other friends that I am praying for will soon come to know Christ. To God be the glory.

“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” James 5:16b

Not So Crappy Wednesday

A day of fun with many interesting things to do. I did my chemistry practical and also took a lot of pictures of the experiment for the formal report, which I have to hand up individually after the E-learning week. I got about two to three weeks to complete it.

However, the fun ended in the evening because my chemistry test was drawing near and one of my group mates for my chemical process project messaged me to pass the graph to her when I realised that I have thrown it away.

Besides this stupid issue of the school stuff, I was really delighted in the afternoon. I had lunch with my campus crusade friends, played badminton with them and also studied with Hai Kiat who sacrificed his rest time to teach me chemistry. I also spent some time praying for some of my friends for their salvation with Bilson, and our grandpa, Joel. I really hope God will answer our prayers and touch the hearts of the people we prayed for. In the night, I went to Singapore Post Centre to study with Fu Wei and Chin Soon. We studied for about an hour plus before going home. I just hope for a better day at school, and that I can put the pass behind me.
