She burns her midnight oil almost every night trying to succeed in the coming GCE 'O' Level Examinations. Her mediocre prelimary examination results made her want to work harder so that she could get into a good junior college and take on new challenges.
I really hope that she will succeed after putting endless effort into her school work and taking pride in it. Sometimes, she will tell me it would be impossible for her to do well in the examinations because of the stress building up in her. Also, the pressure of her peers and parents make things a little more difficult for her to concentrate on her daily revision.
Her younger brother often disturbs her and she cannot study in peace. She will sometimes become very frustrated and longed for a quiet place to do her revision all by herself. Although it may seem difficult for her, I hope she will be able to become an Acsian one day and continue working hard towards the future.
