Life in the polytechnic is not as great as you think but it also has its good points. In polytechnic, we can wear anything we like to school and they do not care about how you look at all. Even though the school rules are violated, no one really cares. Quarrels and small fights are occasional, but serious ones are rare. Cursing and swearing is part of the language the students use, and almost every sentence have a vulgarity in it just to complement the phrase they speak and it functions like a comma or full stop. The library in the polytechnic is more of a social place for students to gather and talk then a place for studying. You can even see people sleeping on the floor of the library all over. One thing I hate most about is procrastinating. Some people will only do their projects only when it is going to be due in a few days time and they always think that they got a lot of time and do not think about the consequences. However, polytechnic life have its good points, there are really friendly and nice people in polytechnic. Most of them happen to be my co curricular activity friends and they really make me feel that polytechnic is a much better place. We often go out together and sometimes it just brings back the memories of my junior college life. Also, some of my classmates help me in my work when I have difficulties, which is really encouraging.
