Haze Made Windsurfing Over

As this was a public holiday, I woke up really late at about ten plus. I tried to wake up earlier but I was too tired and I knew that there was no school, so I took the opportunity to sleep and rest as much as I can. I woke up with a slight flu and runny nose but lucky there are no lessons, so I can have a good rest and hopefully recover in time to go to school tomorrow. Lessons will be quite interesting tomorrow, as there will be Chemical Process Principles practical, Microbiology and Computer Do It Yourself. I hope that I will be able to pay full attention tomorrow and stay alert throughout the lessons as my mind always drifts away from the lessons.

This morning, I just received an email from my Sea Scout Commissioner, saying that the windsurfing expedition will be cancelled due to the haze. I do not know whether to be delighted or not, as I really liked windsurfing and have not been to the sea for about a month or so. On the other hand, I am quite happy because I already have plans this weekend. I plan to study together with my friends for the upcoming tests and there will also be a captain’s ball competition in my church this Sunday.

I think I will be one of the leaders of the captain’s ball competition and I hope my team will be able to cooperate and do well. I also hope to bring one of my friends to church this Sunday as it is going to be fun and the examinations are over already.
