Life in secondary school was quite a slow process as I spent four years there. The best part about secondary school life I would say is the friends, school uniform and best of all outings with either my classmates, co curricular activities friends, or other school mates. My secondary school uniform was the best I would say, as it was white shirt and navy blue long pants. This was the best uniform combination and many schools have it too.
Most of my friends are from my class or from my co curricular activities, which is scouting and windsurfing. I often go out with them as they were fun to mix around with and we had things to talk about in common as we have similar interests. Also, my secondary school is located near many shopping centres and near town, which is very convenient for us to access to either by bus or train.
Some of the not so good things about secondary school life were that the school is very strict with practically everything and that is good. The teachers are also very strict in class and about not completing our assignments. Sometimes we will get caught for talking during lessons and get scolded. That’s secondary school life.
Moving on to junior college was much more fun. The people there are really friendly and I made many new friends on the first day of school even though I knew nobody there at first. The people there were also very hardworking, and I cannot seem to procrastinate because everyone there is working so hard and I am afraid that I might lose out. We were quite united as a class and moved around together and have lunch together too. Sometimes we would even go out to the nearby shopping centre to have lunch and study together. My orientation group even went out for a barbeque and steamboat dinner at Marina South, played pool and took many photos too. Anyway, the best part of the school life ended in about a month as I was not given a choice to study the subjects I wanted and transferred to the polytechnic.
The polytechnic life was not a very pleasant one I would say and I will touch on that some other time, as there is too much to say both good and bad. In conclusion, life in junior college was the best and the secondary school one was very good too and I really miss the times I was there.
