It has been like a month or so since I last met my secondary school classmates. Yesterday, we met up at East Coast Park and I went there late because I had scout activites in the morning. We did not do much at East Coast Park, but we went to Parkway Parade to play pool in the late afternoon. The walk from East Coast Park to Parkway Parade was quite long as we had to pass through the expressway through an underpass.

I did not play pool for quite a long time so I was really bad at it when I was challenging my friends. I won two out of four rounds which I think was totally luck having such lousy skills. We booked three tables and played for about an hour before heading to Bugis to have our steamboat dinner. We headed straight to Bugis by bus 197 which took quite a long time to come. It always seems that the bus that you are waiting for always never come on time.

The place where we when was some steamboat restaurant by the roadside and it was really crowded. We had to queue up for awhile before we managed to get a place to sit as there were twelve of us. The food was pretty good except that the soup was a little spicy. The variety of food there was not very good, but I enjoyed the chicken soup most.

Next week, my class will be meeting up for another class outing at my secondary school form teacher’s house. She invited us over because her second child will be one month old. I cannot wait for next week, but I will have to leave church early in order to make it there on time.
