Today was a really bad day, the whole day actually. In the morning, I was nearly late for the bowling trials and the haze was really bad today with the PSI reading 135 at the highest. During the selections, I started off really badly and most of the six games I played were below one hundred points. I kept playing straight and the worst thing was that I keep missing the pocket.

My other friends all did much better than me and I think some of them will qualify for the school team. I also did not know that the bowling president of the school’s bowling team was a national bowler. He was really great, and all the six games he played were all above two hundred points, so unbelievable but true.

Although I did not make it into the school team, there will still be a slim chance as the coach will be selecting four bowlers to play in the coming competition. I really hope I will get chosen and represent my school. Now I will just have to learn from my mistakes and continue to train harder. Really cannot wait for Monday as there will be bowling training again.
