I know that teaching is not an easy task because I can always see the teachers in frustration when students like me and maybe you keep making the same mistakes over and over again. I finally get to experience the difficulty of teaching during my holidays as a windsurfing instructor. Actually it was not really difficult because I was lucky to have good and teachable students. The initial process was quite difficult to teach as it requires the instructors to teach them to learn how to balance on the windsurfing board. This part of windsurfing was also difficult for me when I was learning windsurfing too. I was like quite frustrated at first because the students took quite a long time to learn how to balance, but I tried my best to be patient with them and they eventually made it. I was so happy for them and later taught them how to move around with the sail. To me, I think teaching can be fun, but mine was quite different, so the teachers might think otherwise. I love teaching windsurfing because I can get to make new friends as my students are like around my age too but most of them are younger than me. Also in church, I can see that my cell group leaders in church are working very hard to teach me and my friends how to better understand the bible when we meet up for bible study every Sunday. Sometimes, I think my friends and I just do not want to cooperate as we usually try to rush through the lessons so that we can leave the church early and go out. I just hope that my cell group, including me will be able to learn how to be more patient and serious when learning the word of God.
