Failing Exams, Passing Tests

The stress from the school examinations are often different from the stress of the normal class test. I always find that i tend to perform better in the class tests than in the school mid year examinations or final examinations. Maybe it is the stress or pressure, or even the difficulty of the paper. During both class tests or school examinations, I always find that i am full of confidence before and during the paper itself. When the results are out, the test results always greatly differ from the examination results. This happens almost all the time, and I always ask myself what went wrong, but I just cannot find the answer or reason. This always saddens me, as I just cannot seem to understand why I can perform so well in tests getting distinctions, yet I cannot do as well in the examinations. However, the cause may be the stress that I may be facing, because an examination is usually much more difficult than a common class test. The techniques in answering the questions may also be different. Nevertheless, I told myself that I am capable of doing it and score the distinctions that I want to achieve just like the tests. Even as the prelimary examinations and GCE 'O' Level Examinations are drawing near, I must persevere on and continue studying constantly in order to achieve fantastic results. "Keep believing in yourself", that’s what my mathematics teacher told me, and that’s what I will do, I told myself in my heart.
