Entering Death, Escaping Life

Death marks the end of time for something or someone. It is often feared by many including believers like you and me. In the beginning, before we were born into this world, God planned every step of our lives. the day we will be born, how we look like, our characteristics and even the day we would perish from this world. Nobody can exactly tell how long one may live, but only God. If God wants us back in heaven, he will do it and there is nothing that can stop him. As humans, we want to know everything, even the time we die. Almost everything on this earth has been scientifically proven, but not the time of how long a person can live. Recently, there are many cases of people facing unnatural death without any known reason, and this still remains a controversy. People with no signs of health problems can suddenly collapse and die. The recent London bombings has led to many deaths, but it is all part of God's plan. There was this victim who escaped the train blast just in time. He quickly ran out of the train station and boarded a bus, which actually had a bomb on it too. He did manage to escape once, but God wanted him back, so there is no where he can run. I too had my own experiences of almost meeting with death. Once, I was on this double decker bus heading to the train station with my friend and we were sitting in the front seat of the upper deck. Seconds after my friend and I got off our seats and headed for the stairs, the bus crashed into an overhanging tree branch. The branch smashed through the glass, and into the seat at head level. I would never dared imagine what would happen if I was still sitting there. For now, I am thankful that God still wants me to continue serving him and that my time is not up yet. I would like to tell everyone that life is precious and we cannot take it for granted, as there is no time to waste. As a Christian, I know that God made me for a reason. He put me on this earth to fulfill his purpose and serve him. In his time, when he thinks I am ready, he will take me back to where i belong, and that is heaven.
