Choosing friends can sometimes be a very difficult thing. Some friends may teach us good values and influence us in a positive manner. However, there are also some friends that lead us astray, and teach us the wrong values. It does matter who we go out with, as we may be easily influence by our friends and peers. What our friends teach us may right in their eyes, but it may be wrong in the eyes of the law. We often get pressurised by them and in the end give in even if its wrong, while sometimes we just do the wrong things unknowingly. There are some people that only befriend people that may be of good use to them, and whom they can depend on. This type of people is only selfish and only thinks of benefitting from others, which are not true friends. Looks can be deceiving, as some people only mix with people who are deemed worthy of being their friends, because of their looks. The girls would normally look for cool boys, and boys, for cute girls. There are many different types of people in this world, and we all cannot live without friends. Therefore, it is very important to have true and loyal friends, which will stay with us whether in sad times to share the sorrows, and good times to share the joy.
